XIEThe Moor: Always IN Lost |
19/6/2008 Opeth!!
Copied from some Dave R...hoho..m opeth is my favorite~ 13/6/2008 .. Recently I've been distracted by lot of things, and I haven't update this space for a month. I started to feel it's quite expensive to keep a time consuming habit which adds no value. I'm having fun but I feel the things need to be done is still undone. Life without a goal and plan, it's painful and i feel like a zombie everyday. Now the world, bad news is still going on, inflation, food shortage, banks report losses, etc. It's not totally a bad luck to come out as fresh graduate during a market downturn. At least you won't invest when the market is at the peak. The possibility of losing money when doing long term investment during a bear market is much lower than in the bull market. Image if I graduate some years before and make some investment 'blindly', then the outcome may be disastrous. The property market in China dropped so much that every time I think about it I would feel sorry for him/her. Just finished reading "Use The News" written by Maria Bartiromo, a famous report from CNBC. And the book is alleged the once best selling books on Wall Street. I read the reviews on Amazon before I read it. It's really true, the structure of the book is ok, yet the language is not well written, it's very easy to notice a grammar mistake from time to time when reading. And there are often long-winded paragraphs kept repeating. Some paragraphs are even exactly the same as the previous ones.... As a newbie want to learn investment, the book did offer me some nuggets: insights on the market and about company's financial sheets. Anyway it's good to learn some basic general knowledge from here. Opeth's new album amazed me again. Some riffs are just fascinating. |
